Hike smarter, farther, and more comfortably.
I’m Robert, better known on the trail as “Silent Bob”. Since 2011, I’ve hiked thousands of miles and gained extensive backpacking knowledge. My 2015 thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail enhanced my understanding of the physical demands of long-distance hiking. The following year, my thru-hike of the Pacific Crest Trail broadened my skills in various wilderness environments. In 2019, the Continental Divide Trail tested my resilience against unpredictable challenges.
I want to use my expertise to help you hike smarter, farther, and more comfortably. On this blog, you’ll find comprehensive hiking gear reviews, trail reports, practical backpacking tips, and essential tools to get you trail-ready. Let me help you roam and route to more successful hiking adventures!
